3 year MRI

My neuro thinks 3 year check ups are the thing to do if you are doing fine. So I had mine today. I was able to sign a waiver to let them send me the report without it going through my MD first. The actual MRI wore me out more than it had in the past.

singing to the choir! :) I wish my MS MD would just leave me alone! I dont want his drugs. I dont want the MRI, I dont want to drive 2 hours to visit him, I dont want to hear about the latest greatest IV or IM treatments. I want better answers than this! its 2011 for God sake!

Im so happy your MD is listening. how did you do that?

Hi Doydie,

I'm sorry to hear of your frustrations. I need to drive 2 to 2.5 hours to my Neuro too. I have another MRI today to see for a new Neuro I am transitioning to. I hope you stay stable with little exacerbatoins for as long as possible. :)

I've found that extremely frustrating too. It is the unknown that is hardest for me.

Gpt the report today and have had no changes. Actually it is the same report from 1997 when I was first diagnosed. I hope I didn't confuse anyone who thought I had to drive a long distance to see her. She is only a couple of miles from my house and so is the diagnostic center. It's just that the MRI itself was more fatigueing than before
