Central Pain Syndrome - Electric Shock Pain
 
Anyone else heard of this? Newbie here. I have been suffering with an undiagnosed issue for over three years, and this is the only thing that's matched my symptoms.

Yes--
 
--it refers to the central sensitization that happens upon damage to spinothalamic sensory tracts of the lower brain/upper spinal cord, producing phantom neural pain; it is common post stroke and also in multiple sclerosis, some cases of HIV infection, B12 deficiency with subacute combined degeneration . . .
