Tingling in Left Side of Body
Hope some of you out there may be able to help!
I'm having some new symptoms, as of yesterday afternoon. I have a tingling sensation basically in the entire left side of my body, more pronounced in certain areas than others, including: head face left side of tongue?? jaw neck shoulder scapula arm under arm area hand chest leg & foot Again, this is on the LEFT side, more pronounced in my shoulder, forearm (top side) & face. The worst symptoms of all of my conditions have always been on my RIGHT side in the past. I'm not sure if this related to the TOS or other issues. Here is a brief summary of my health history: KLIPPEL-FEIL SYNDROME (A Congenital condition which consists of cervical vertebral fusion, low posterior hair line, limited ROM and other various symptoms which may include Kidney anomalies, cervical ribs, respiratory problems, heart malformations, muscle abnormalities, vascular anomalies, etc) TOS - Complete arterial compression on right side, only in certain positions. Slight arterial compression on left side in certain positions. Funny thing is that when I put my hands up in the "stick'em up" position (EAST Test) it's my left hand and arm that turns red & blue! BI-LATERAL CERVICAL RIBS ABNORMAL 1ST THORACIC RIB ON RIGHT (SHORT C-LOOP?) TINNITUS (PULSATILE AT TIMES) PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS THICKENING OF RIGHT SCALENES (MEDIAL & POSTERIOR) RAYNAUD'S I'm not sure if this may be a Vascular or Neurological issue. I called the office of the Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon who did all of my testing for TOS (The Emory Clinic-Atlanta). The nurse said they were about to go into 'clinic' and it would probably be tomorrow before they could get back to me. Thanks in advance for any assistance.........Rhonda:confused: |
Hi,
Are nerves are a bit like a electric cord you could say. They are protected in other words. Make sure the DOCS get to the problem. Hugs, Roz |
The numbness could be TIA's or at the least you need to have them rule out a high risk for stroke. The nerves and blood work together. Hugs, Roz

Thanks for the imput, Roz.
I really appreciate it. I really don't have any of the other typical signs of stroke as far as I know. I've only been diagnosed with Klippel-Feil Synd (KFS) for about 1 1/2 years, even though I was born with it. It brings something new everyday, it seems! Take Care....Rhonda |
