does fibro feel like lactic acid
i feel like i have lactic acid in my body 24/7, not the entire body, just places with major muscle imbalances.
would this qualify as fibro? does fibro feel similar to this? thank you! |

wow, okay, i thought fibro was this widespread pain?
im glad i found someone who understands my pain! ive tried to describe it to people and nobody knows what im talking about. im going to try some vitamins and to gain muscle. my back looks completely emaciated. also gettin my hormones checked. |
When the mitochondria in your cells are damaged or not working right, lactic acid may build up.
You can try taking some acetyl carnitine, r-lipoic acid and CoQ-10 to help shift to metabolism of fatty acids for energy instead. This reduces lactic acid build up. I have six or seven levels of pain: 1). Neuropathic pain 24/7. Burning and other parasthaesias; worst in lower legs and feet. 2). The lactic acid type pain you describe. For me this happened a lot initially when I first got ill in 2007 & 2008 but occurs less often these days. This happened readily for instance when I held the steering wheel of the car; held a book or a knife and fork; walked about two meters up a slope and other occasions. 3). Excruciating joint pains which would last from three minutes to three days then disappear as quickly as they came. These would flit from joint to joint, such as ankle, knee, finger/thumb, wrist, hip, elbow etc. These still happen but less often – thankfully. 4). Stiffness of joints/fingers & muscles – particularly thighs. This stiffness still happens daily but less crippling since I started Lyrica. 5). Tender sore spots on skin but not too bad. 6). Aching, aching muscles to the bone – relentless 24/7. 7). Dull aching pain in one knee which wakes me at night and can be relentless also. |
thanks everyone i thought id update since im getting a little better
my thoracic spine is tight as hell. it's actually stuck at the top. i have no muscles to speak of so i believe this makes it easier to stick somehow and MAJORLY slouch. ive been doing these GENTLE stretches for my t-spine and c-spine and my physical therapist is actually going to manually unstick my stubborn areas. so far that's really helped and i have been taking a multi vitamin but apparently i AM low in magnesium. so theyre going to put me on some kind of rx? what kind of magnesium absorbs the best? next step for me is to get a hormone panel. |
i keep this DEEP DEEP ache too sometimes in my wrist or my entire arm. im wondering if that's tos tho. it's not constant

Doctors still use the terrible useless magnesium oxide.
You don't have to use that one...and will get little or no relief from it. New studies show magnesium oxide is not absorbed enough to be useful. It remains in the bowel and becomes a laxative.
