hello and with good news
Sorry I left a while. I was going through some weird symptoms last year. I am doing better this year. I found a therapist who cares and does her job well. I am waiting to see a psychiartrist through this therapist. She taught me some techiniques to deal with rage and triggers. I might be trying something new when I get to see my psychiartrist. My mood swings show at work. But I am lucky to have supportive co workers who like me anyways. And I am not the only one with bipolar. Some coworkers of mine have it too.
I joined a meet up bipolar group who are supporters of Nami. I meet with this group once a month. It makes a difference to talk to others who have bipolar disorder. Lastly, marriage is going very well. My husband is supportive sometimes it is hard for him to understand but he does make a huge effort. Thought I share with everyone that I have adjusted to NY AND SURVIVED! :) Sharla |

Dear Sharla, :) :Tip-Hat:
It is so good to hear from you. You sound wonderful. I'm glad that you have adjusted to the big city. I'm happy that your marriage is going well. M. |
I'm so happy you're doing well!
It sounds like you have assembled a great support system to help you through the rough patches- that's so important! |
Thanks
I am glad to be working and getting out of bed. I live near a park in a oriental area. So it is nice with healthy food alternatives at the markets. I have gain 30 pounds being on lamictal. So I am now on a special diet. I just have to coordinate exercise. I hate running but walking should be fine and using stairs should be ok too. Today I am going to see my therapist to see if I can get some help with my meds because I am running low and I really do not want a relaspe.
I have to wait till June to see the psych. Sharla |
Dear Sharla
it is great to see you and doubly so with this wonderful update. Good luck with your meds. A lot of us struggling with weight gain on meds here... i personally just gained another 20 odd with zyprexa and i had only just lost them from the first round of zyprexa... hadn't got all the way through the other 20 lbs either. sigh i am so glad you are feeling more comfortable in NYC. hope to see you around (((HUGS))) ~ waves ~ |
call and speak to your pdocs nurse to get a new script called in for you.
you are right. don't want to mess up your life by running out of meds. good luck. bizi |
