I have also had four facet injections which did not help, the surgon I saw said i was not a canidate for surgery. What should I do from here? Will I have this problem down the road for a long time?

Don't be afraid to get a second surgical opinion. While I am not big on the idea of surgery, sometimes it is the answer after other less invassive therapies have failed and the pain is intollerable and limitting function. Best wishes.

I would imagine with that many herniations, you're in alot of pain. Rather than jump into surgery, I'd ask for a referral to a physical therapist and see how that does. I'd try ALL conservative methods before surgery. Surgery should be a last resort after ALL conservative methods have failed. And don't bother with any more injections. If these didn't work, none of the others will either.
Best of luck. I hope you find some relief. God bless. Hugs, Lee |
