Just as a note, I didn't like elavil. It made me drowsey and gave me a feeling of "brain mush." If I didn't have to work or take care of any responsibilities, I would definitely continue to take it and would recommend it for pain management for someone who does not work.

I just couldn't function with it though. I wanted to do nothing but sleep all day and I only took about 10mg per night. I couldn't drive while taking it.
