As I write I'm watching live film of a massive tornado moving in your area.

barely missed us..... we have a ton of hail damage but we are all ok :)

thank goodness. I came in to check on you! My prayers are with everyone in the path of this horrible thing. Be safe

Whew - Goofy, that's good news.

So far, so good for all of us here...not so much for Joplin and others. :(

I think our guardian angel was really looking out for us last night :) Rick and I went outside to look at the clouds and things started swirling and debris was falling from the sky. we knew that the tornado was above our neighborhood. One of Rebeccas friends was not so lucky. His famliy had just moved last week into a brand newly built house. It took a direct hit and the family has nothing left. it was reduced to a pile of wood.
He sent rebecca a photo of his truck and it looks like a crumpled mass of red metal. cant even tell it was a truck. Like i said earlier other than some hail damage we are good.
Say a prayer for everybody who has been effected by this recent outbreak of bad weather.... :hug: love you guys

Thanks for the update Goofy ...... This morning that same storm - much less powerful - move right over us. There were some small tornados but no major damage at all.
But we're getting warnings about this afternoon. We're supposed to get a giant storm with bad wind, bad hail and 'probable' tornadoes.
And I have a plastic surgeon :paperbag: appt this afterenoon in another town. He wants to examine and photograph (???) my nose.

storming here, pouring rain, lots of lightening but little wind...:o

glad it wasn't any worse for you Goofy but it must have been scarey. :hug:

And wren, you should be given a copy of those pictures too. After all, it is your nose. *grin :hug:

I can't quite fathom how devastating this weather has been... so glad you're ALL ok here!
