Peripheral Polyneuropathy

Hi I am new to this type of social networking, due to Complex Sleep Apnea 30+ yrs., severe Arthritis in both knees, left shoulder, both hands, small of back, and base of neck 30+ yrs., and Peripheral Polyneuropathy since 1976 all progressive till 2010 when I had a car accident followed by two knee surgerys and unbearable pain joint, muscle, pin/bee stings, stabbing/ripping, and burning with sensistivity to touch. also weakness stumbling over my own feet, leg movement all night, lack of sleep and unable to focus, concentrate, tired, groggy, and zoning out all the time. And then the meds with a load of other symptoms, and finnally the depression. I have spent lots of time on the net researching all my conditions which all mostly are have to live with it, which is fine but finding ways to reduce the pain and other symptoms has become my quest in life. Also not knowing what the future holds is hard to deal with at times. Even most Dr. know very little about it so most people don't know what to believe about or how to help/support even my wife of 35 yrs. has trouble at times. I do know some neuropathies are cureable but in my case cause unknown and both sural nerves are dead found by NCV and EMG. I trully believe fourms like this and people like us keep on seeking answers will some day lead to a cure.
