possible ulnar nerve entrapment?

Good morning everyone! So I had my first neuro appt yesterday and after "examining" me, he thinks I may have a problem with the ulnar nerve in my elbow. I asked him how it could it be a problem in my elbow if I'm having the major pain in my shoulder? He said as weird as it sounds that it is possible to have the pain there, even though thats not where the problem originates. I still have to wait another couple weeks to do my nerve conduction testing, so I guess only time will tell. I am still not convinced, though, that my problem lies in the ulnar nerve. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? I'm an intelligent person, but all this TOS stuff is making me feel dumb :( Also, I'm having a test for diabetes. The doctor suggested this after he checked reflexes in my leg and said I had none. I do the fasting blood test tomorrow... Thanks for eveyone's advice and support...

Loss of reflexes can also be due to hypothyroidism - some nerve compression problems can be attributed to that too.

Is he testing your thyroid too?

Well, I still have no answers regarding where my nerve pain is originating. I've been waiting for a week to hear from the doctor who will be scheduling my nerve conduction testing. Still no word... Also I'm still waiting for some blood work to come back about whether I have diabetes or not. The nurse at the neuro office told me that if the values came back normal, she could give me the results, but if they were abnormal, she'd have to give the results to the doc and let him contact me. It has been several days and still no word. I think the word stressed doesn't begin to describe how I feel. On top of that, the pain in my shoulder and arm is sometimes bordering on excruciating. I know I need to relax but I'm a worrier and just don't know how to deal with all this new stuff happening to my body and my life. It is so frustrating, to say the least. Any ideas on how long it should take to get results back from a fasting blood glucose test? I had to fast for 8 hours and then have blood drawn. They were also checking the HbA1c level in my blood, as well. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Stressing does make your body tighten up as well, so working on relaxation is a big plus for many reasons.

If you think about it -worrying & stressing won't solve or change anything, so try to let some of that roll off your back.
Been there done that too though...

I don't know if you've found our info on TrPs (trigger points) ?
trigger points can cause major pain and symptoms-& referred pain & sx.
[Listed below are common areas of pain, or you can download a copy here. Select a muscle group under each area to see the corresponding trigger points, referred pain patterns and stretches that should be performed along with Pressure Pointer treatment.]

double crush or even triple crush?
double/triple crush is when the nerve is affected in other places as well as with TOS. TOS & cubital/ulnar, TOS and carpal, or all 3.

Bloods come back the same day.

Do you have any more symptoms ?
