fungal infection or RSD?

I have these white areas on the top of my toenails on both feet. (mostly 2-3 toes per foot). Anyway, I have been treating it like a fungal infection but it is not getting better. Could it be RSD instead? It started about the time the RSD started. I would love to keep my toenails painted so I don't have to look at it but if it is fungal I should not keep them painted.

What are your experiences?

btw, the RSD is in both feet.

Thanks
J

I'd have a podiatrist take a look. Fungus is not uncommon on toenails.

My toenails are very bad. My pain doctor even made a comment on them. I am not sure for your's if it is fungus or from the rsd or if the rsd caused the fungus. Am I making sense? With rsd we are prone to infection etc. Who is treating your rsd? I would talk to them about it and they may be able to say more or have you go to a podiatrist but if you go make sure he or she knows about rsd. See for myself no one touches that area so I am not sure what I can do. I would keep the polish off though not sure it will help or not maybe you could even have an allergy to it.
