Hormones/PMS and PCS

This one is for the ladies (not sure how many of us are on this forum!) I’m wondering whether you have noticed any changes in your PCS symptoms during PMS or otherwise hormone-related flare-ups? And how do you manage them? Thanks.

Hormone imbalance and malfunction is an important issue for the men as well as the ladies. Men just don't have the monthly cycle of hormones but do have a hormonal change in their forties to fifties. Getting good hormone analysis is important for all with PCS.

I was using Testosterone cream for a while and continue to take DHEA.

As I have posted previously, https://www.womensinternational.com/..._referral.html has a good referral page to find specialists with hormones. The generic endocrinologist likely uses a broad brush when a fine tip brush is needed for those with PCS.

Hi
Yes, I've noticed that things get a lot worse at that time. I think that it is too much for an injured brain to cope with, hence the bad symptoms.

I didn't notice anything.

I get worse in that time, I think a lot of the problems with PCS is the bloodflow through the brain.

Also, I think our bodies are trying to hard to heal that anything else that distracts the body makes the PCS worse. I get sick a lot more now with colds and stuff like that...and I think it is just that my body is worn down by the PCS and can't cope with something else. Same with that time of the month when even a normal woman has trouble with life and PCS just makes it worse and for me the PCS gets worse or maybe it is just that I am worse at coping with PCS while PMSing.
