Arm Pain (Just Above Elbow, Inside) & ATOS/NTOS

Folks,

For those of you with A/V/NTOS, pain in the upper extremity seems to be commonplace. I personally have a specific type of periodic "throb" that hits me on the inside part of my arm about an inch or two above the elbow.

Back when this pain first started (back in November), I thought it was nerve pain related to the ulnar nerve. Getting a "double crush" first in the neck and then down in the nerve seems to be common so that's what I thought I had. Now, after a few months I've noticed that I can find the ulnar nerve at the elbow, follow it up the arm, and rub/move it really without any pain at all. I'm starting to think this pain isn't "nervy" pain, but possibly pain associated with ATOS. If I press on the tissue around where the nerve travels, it's very tender...and this is the location where I get this type of periodic "throb."

Does anyone else get this in their arm around the elbow?

Just trying to get a handle on what's causing this. The vascular surgeon said it was common to get pain on the inside part of the arm in this location. And it seems like neurologic vs. arterial vs. venous TOS have different pain here.

Thanks.

KY
