Amazing

I live on the ninth floor of a big brick building in downtown South Bend. I have no balcony but lots of big windows. Yesterday I looked out and saw a hummingbird at my window. I was shocked, but loved it!

Wow... so high in the sky - what a treat for you Barbo!

A few years ago I lived in a 21 floor building - we had a garden on the roof - it used to amaze me that bees could find their way up there to pollinate the flowers! Also made us mad that the bees would show up when we BBQ'd... lol ...

Wow, that's amazing barbo and Addy.

What amazed me is that when in Wash State for a while and my friend had a beehive in the back yard and they were apparently all in hibernation during the winter. The moment it started to warm up they came to life again. Never seen anything like that in my life.

Having bees around is actually a sign of really good environment. Not sure about 21 floors up. lol Maybe they'd adapted over time in the city life and heck, when you think about it they were pretty smart bees to get all the way up there to the flowers. :)

Having green frogs around is a sign of a really good environment too.

Seasons. Amazing.

I don't really get seasons here in the sub-tropics apart from hot/wet vs cooler/dry

p.s. edited to mention I actually thought all the bees in the hive were no longer alive and had frozen. Silly me.
