trial work period

i have been on SSDI since 2007. i might have an oppurtunity to go back to work. not sure if i can do it but want to try. i read that the trial work period is 9 months. you can work for 9 months and still get disability. if you can not continue working for 9 months you are reinstated your disability without reapplying.is it that simple?

Well, it can be if your work activity is as clear cut as that and you don't stop and start work and you don't have any special work expenses or special considerations and you don't have medical improvement.

Read the Red Book of Work Incentives. Twice.
