Trigminial neuropathy
 

HI,

In February I had root canal done and that were all my troubles started. During this time I got a crown lenghening which I didnt need because tooth should of been pulled out. I pulled out the bad tooth 2 weeks ago. During this time I have been on steroids, lexapro, zoloft, klonopin,gabepentin, ativan, and 4 weeks of antibiotics, nsids, nose spray. Not all at the same time. The day after that root canal I started feeling hot and cold flashes on the left side of my face and finally numbness. Third I had trouble breathing through my nose. Ive taken bloodtests, mris , two ct sinus scans and speicialist. ENT said he saw a minor sinusitis which I took antibiotcs for. Cardiologist said everything is ok with my heart. I was low on vitamin D which i take vitamin d. My symptoms now is facial tightness especiallyin the neck area most distressing is not able to breath right through my nose right feels like im suffocating at times. I assume its the tightness around my face that gives me that sensation,not sure. Neurologist assistant did some tests then the neurologist came in and said that the dental injection caused anxiety giving me the sensation in my face, He said that he thought it would go away. Not sure about his diagnosis. I know that stress makes it worse. These last six months have been a nightmare. I would like more of a concrete answer so I will be going to another neurologist. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
