I think I belong here
I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia about 6 yrs ago.I have seen many Neurologists and have been on almost every medication out there, I think. Both of my feet are numb and I have severe pain in my left foot that is going up to my calf.Lately my hands have started to itch terribly, and the Dr. says that this is NOT a common symptom.I don't know what else it could be ,as I have not done anything differently or started using anything new.The last medication he had me on was Venlafaxine, which he says can cause itching, but I was itching before I started the pills.
Is itching a symptom of Neuropathy? I hope I can get some answers from you fellow sufferers. Thanks for listening,Abby2 |
Hey, Abby, glad you stopped by!
This is a great place to find people with common experiences. Here's the link to the neurapathy forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum20.html
Hang out there, ask your questions, see whose LS rings bells. I bet it won't be long before you start connecting with some people who can understand what you're feeling. I haven't been here very long, but in a few weeks I've learned a lot. & I've met some very caring people who know how I'm feeling because we share many of the same health concerns. So come back, get to know us, let us spend time getting to know you. Stop in for a  or 4 or 5 any time you feel like it . |
