RF Ablasian for Occipital nerve pain

This may be a relatively new procedure for pain in neck going up to head. I met someone recently (practicing golf) who had had the procedure and was doing well... but it was a brieef conversation. I appear to always awake with this type of pain, which is draining and there is very little desire to do anything. I have tried various pillow densities but am serious thinking about having the RF Ablasian don by an OD. Any thoughts? Thanks.

If you search for the term in this thread, you'll find info posted by members here and you can read their accounts. I would search under "RFA" or just "ablation" to see what pops up. Good luck
