New here
I'm 38 and have a few health issues. High blood pressure, high chlorestrol, moderately controlled type 2 diabetes. In 1997 in ruptured L4-S1. Have done most things chiropractic, massage, lumbar injections and able to maintain. Starting last november starting haveingnleg pain and numbness and nothing helped. In may I had a microlaproscopic diskecteme at L4-L5 with alot of relief, but now have low back to foot pain and numbness when standing and walking. Can get a fair amount of relief from sitting. Starting nueroronton 600 three times a day. Seems to have some improvement but side effects have been difficult but getting beeter.
Had another MRI last week and they are comparingn to former mri's but on Friday doc said to stop nuerronton and take lyrics 75 just at night. Last two days have been hell felt like a horribable case of the flu. Went back to nueronton today and feel a little better. I'm in law enforcement and not sure how long I can stand the nueronton side effects(memory loss, sleepiness, etc.) Any advice I'm really starting to get worried!!! Thanks |
Hi, echo. Glad to see you here.
Here's a link to the Spinal Disorders & Back Pain Forum:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...aysprune=&f=22 There're other links that might be useful...look for the Search tab to the right of center on the blue bar near the top of the page. I think tho that if you'll wander around the spinal forum, ask questions, get to know the folks, check some of the links from there, you'll soon be getting the sort of info you need to begin seeing & sorting thru options. Above all, don't get bogged down in worry or--even worse--fear. Keep coming back. I'll check in later, & if this link hasn't gotten you what you need & no one else has popped up (I'm betting they will!)we'lll find something else. |
hello and welcome to NT.
if you're having a bad reaction to a med i'd just stop it. i wish i could suggest something better that would help your pain but i'm afraid i don't know. i'd let your dr know and see if he can come up with something else. no sense in trying to live with a med that's interfering with you being able to do your job. please let us know what happens. |
