CCSVI study shows success in RRMS and PSMS
Folks might find this interesting. They suggest more blinded studies need to be done. But in this study CCSVI improved walking, incontinence, fatigue, balance, lower extremity weakness, and coordination in relapsing remitting and secondary progressive, but not primary progressive.

What I dont like is that folks keep having to re-do it. I hope they figure that part out.

On the way to my new Neuro appointment at UCSF, I read CCSVI as the cause of multiple sclerosis : the science behind the controversial theory by Marie A. Rhodes I loved it and it brought some hope. There are many naysayers but I think it's worth more research. :) |
What I have seen is that there is a Theory that the condition addressed by CCSVI is actually caused by MS, not the other way around. The surgery may only give short term results. Lots of work needs to be done.
