I guess I should give up

Hi all

I am so angry that I need to come here and vent. I got a call from my Dr's office this afternoon. I was just there last week and sat and talked with the Dr about this TOS being work related...he even answered a signed a note from my lawyer saying it was no doubt work related. He even took me out of work! Ok, now here' s kicker that I don't get...the Dr told the billing office that they have to bill my insurance because it' s not a work related injury under workman's comp! What the heck? I'm sooo confused

Now my only thinking on this is ...I just filed workman's comp on Feb 28th and it has not been determined by the insurance company if it is work related. They have 21 days. I was told that the Dr can submit bills to the insurance company anyways. Now, is the Doctor changing his mind and saying it's not work related or is is that he's afraid of not getting paid. I'm wondering since itg hasn't been approved by workmans comp...he wants to bill my private insurance to guarantee $$$$$$$$$$ ...especially since each treatment is $1,000. Hmmmmm....I just hope he didn't suddenly change his mind and say all this isn't due to my job....I don't know what would've changed his mind...!!!!!!!!!GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRR

Hi Momz, Don't Give Up....

Have you called your attorney? I know all W/C laws vary by state and I'm not sure what your laws are like. This is the reason you obtain a lawyer. I think I mentioned to you in a previous posts that these cases can get vary complicated and this is the reason why it is so important to have an attorney to deal with the legal matters. You need to concentrate on improving your condition... You shouldn't have to worry about dealing with your W/C case.
I think you should call your attorney and discuss it with them. Don't give up and try not to stress out... I know easier said than done... Been there done that... But you will only make your condition worse by causing a bigger flare...
Hang in there...
Big Gentle Hugs

Momz PM

Hi Momz I sent you a PM,
The procedural thing is more often then ever the insuance company WILL deny and make you fight for it. Saves them money and causes you frustration.IT IS A GAME to keep their claims down. Does not EVER mean they are right!
They are not to be trusted, noe do they ever do what is in your iunterest, you think it would be an insurance plan to help, their plan is to get rid of you...
SUCKS
But be tough! Don;t let them

I thought i replied to this...must not have hit the submit button.

you might contact your doctor and ask about this change.
and contact your atty too- just to be sure it isn't going to mess up the claim.

for my RSI {before TOS was suspected} comp paid for my PT and appts until they sent me to IME & he wrote "no findings" plus a bunch of other garbage!

be sure to read thru the links on the comp forum and stickys.

Never give up!

Hi,
I don`t live in the US and I don`t know these kind of work comp troubles, but I know what TOS pain looks like and how hard life can be with it - but nevertheless, the importance is: don`t give up!
Take all the power and fight for your treatments - it is for you.

All the best and take care,
Barbara

I bet he's afraid of not getting paid from the WC people.

My PT, I believe, is billing my health insurance. I gave them a ll the WC info, but they said they never got a response from the WC rep (which has been my experience trying to get in touch with the WC casemanager too), so they took it upon themseleves to use my health ins info (already on file due to part of the same hospital system). I gave them the correct info and let my lawyer and health insurance know what was going on. Other than that, I really can't take on more stress to make this "my fight."
