Dr. Fasano now states that the "gold standard" for celiac, being an endoscopy is no longer a gold standard. He says it's not silver, or even copper. It's an outdated standard and as a rule, misses celiac disease very often.
Now, they need to perfect a test for gluten intolerance, so people stop thinking as long as they do not have celiac, then gluten is ok. Thanks! |
