TN now on other side of face
Hi all .. well where to begin ..
I am currently 6 months post op from an MVD on my right side of my face for typical TN. I am still having the atypical pain but the typical did stop thank god. Now all of a sudden I am having these horrible horrible pains on my left side of my face. I have no idea how this even happens or if this has happened to anyone else? I never had any pain on this side of my face & cant believe I really am. It is like someone is stabbing me with a knife. HAS ANYONE EVER HAD THIS HAPPEN WHERE YOU GOT PAIN ON THE OTHER SIDE?? |
YEP.
The pain was always on my right face/ear/mouth....I had drugs, gamma knife, gylcerol injection, and, finally, a successful balloon compression. Six months later I began having pain on the left side. Thankfully, the Dilantin has dealt with it thus far, but.....we'll see. Hugs to you, this is the ultimate mind f**k. |
My pain has always been on the left side of my face. I went through two Balloon Compressions, an MVD and Glycerol injections (several) that did not work. I don't understand about you having
pain on the other side now. Make an appt. with a Neuroligist right away. Bombard him with questions. This is so rare as TN itself is a rare disease. I am hoping things get straightened out (it will) You are special, take a deep, slow breath and put in you mind something you love to do and picture yourself doing it. Blessings, Doodle bug7 |
