Hello from the bay area.
4 months back I was diagnosed with Diabetes. Diabetic reading of 7.2 On the same day, I was given tdap and influenza vaccine. 3 weeks later my feet started burning, and then my arms and face. EMG reports everything okay.
Doctor say I have diabetes neuropathy and the burning in my face is because of anxiety. I accepted that. 2 weeks back I hear high pitch ringing in my ears. My blood test shows B12 of 395. Now my face has that tingling feeling and so does my head. My eyes are twitching all the time and sometimes I feel it is being poked as well. The eyes feels funny but there is no pain. I am meeting my internist today, but do not know what to expect. Wish me luck guys, and thanks to the kind folks who started this group. |

Hoping your mtg with internist was enlightening.
After reading your post, it wasn't hard to figure out how you arrived at your AKA. Frazzled, to say the least!
Please let us know how the internist visit went. I thought you might want to check in with the Diabetes Forum. In my experience, the more places you talk about what's going on with you, the more likely you are to click with similarly-experienced folks. IMHO . http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum53.html Perseverence! (Broken Wings) summed up the secret: Keep asking questions. (& asking & asking..... ) Hang in there.... Drop in for virtual hugs & encouragement any ol' time :hug::cool:. |
