RSD ketamine coma procedure for full body RSD

Hi, everybody:

I am interested in the RSD Ketamine Coma Procedure. Where is this available? Which criteria do they use to admit or refuse you for this procedure? Does a certain type of doctor have to approve you first and then give you a referral?

Much of the information about the RSD ketamine procedure is not about the coma procedure I am interested in. The risks of this procedure, even death, do not frighten me. Living with this syndrome for the rest of my life (I am 36 years old) does frighten me!

Do people who do not live in the USA have to go through Dr. Schwartzman or Dr. Kirkpatrick? I sure do not want to go all the way there to then be refused a referral for this procedure.

I refuse to live like a vegetable with this d*** syndrome for the rest of my life. I am sick and tired of it. I just want to LIVE! Is this asking for too much?!

Thanks for your information.

Barby Ingle had full body RSD and is currently in remission using Dr S as her doctor. She gets boosters in her new state of Az. Read her book ReMission Possible and friend her on FB. She is a really valuable ketamine resource and has helped me with my daughter. One year ago our life was a living hell but thur ketamine infusions my daughter is regaining her life.

Kitty,
I know Dr. Kirkpatrick has a great deal of information on his site regarding the ketamine coma's. From my understanding they only do them in Germany and Mexico. Dr. K does do the referrals, but it would sure suck to get down there and not have him refer you. Would it be possible for your doctor to discuss your case with him prior to you having an appointment and getting a good feel if you are a good candidate. I am going in September to Dr. K to receive the 3-day outpatient ketamine. I pray between this and boosters at home I am able to finally get my life back.Best of luck in your search for relief.

Dr. Schwartzman has over a two year wait list. I still have a year to go. The upside is that he does take my insurance. I wish I could see Dr. Kirkpatrick but he wants cash up front and short of cyber begging, which ethically I could not do, I am stuck.

Hope there are better day ahead for you!
