Public transit (esp. light rail train & tunnels)
Just wondering if anyone else does public transit & how often.
I like to visit family on the weekend, especially to hang out w/my bro. But the pressure & noise (not to mention filtered air) could be messing w/my recovery. The train goes into tunnels underwater, and makes a few sudden stops- nothing too bad usually- and I'm usually ready for them. I try not to walk too far to get to the train, but the bus has air conditioning. Finally, there's the matter of how long to spend travelling while in PCS- the total trip can take up to 2 hrs. for me. But visiting family is so relaxing, and I get good sleep there. Just a bit less nutrition- and there are electrical towers around, and clutter in the house. Thanks for input! |
I've never bumped a topic before, but I feel others could benefit from this as well.
Anyone experience worse pain from a bus, light rail train, etc. I haven't tried a plane since the TBI, but am curious about city transit & recovery. Thanks! |
