I saw the other half of this movie tonight...very interesting. Daniel is bipolar and he has documented his life very well with video, pictures, drawings etc. He gets off his meds a lot because he thinks he is better at the artistic things he does.

Daniel is playing with fire....IMO:o

He's still alive, living with his parents in Texas. He still tours...many people think he's more brilliant than Bob Dillon, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon etc.

It's one of those deals where the words aren't disturbing enough to get a fanbase...so you get off the meds and get more disturbed so the words will be more disturbing.

I hope I'm not disturbing anyone :)

I appreciate that you posted about him.

I think musicians / artists sometimes try to tow a line between sanity and creativity. Their gifted power drives them in ways that regular people are not driven . . . . and thus have different rules than the rest of us.

If I went off my meds, my creativity would not improve because I don't have much to start with. :cool:

I'm not very artistic or creative either. If I get off the meds I just get pathetic :eek:

not much creativity here either...
don't think I will ever risk going off them ever again...done that before and that was very very bad!
