slight white on back roof of mouth
 

A few weeks ago I noticed the back part of the roof of my mouth is slight white its the back part closet to my throat the rest of the roof of my mouth is pink.I went to the dentist today he said it wasn't anything to worry about after doing a oral cancer exam.Is that normal? My tongue had s bit of white on it also but is mostly pink he said the white is a slight yest infection and just brush it.Should I have asked for medicine for that? Should I go to get anther opinion I am still kinda worried my mouth is mostly pink but the

Hi Richard. It could be be something less worrying like thrush. Might be easily fixed. Have you been on antibiotics recently? Depends on your current medical history. If you are being treated for another condition that might be the cause. Depends on your diet as well. I'm no expert, but I'd try to cut out sugars and use a low carb diet if possible and add some yoghurt (decent yoghurt I mean, containing probiotics) to see if that helps.
