Help with forum...

Hi All,

Can someone help me with this. There seems to be two forums that are really simular. This one, Neurotalk and the other one Braintalk. Though at first I thought this was the old BT and posted a time or two here, then must have done a google to find it again and was directed to the new BT on a seperate site from this.

I couldn't get my forum name and password to work on Braintalk and had to start all over. Discovered someone else was using my name. They didn't take it, I was just on another forum that I thought was this.

Can someone clear up my confusion to the two different sites. I know several people have mentioned how slow these sites are and I'm just wondering if we kind of lost one another in the transition. I know people have been very sick and don't have the energy to post, I have been one of them. But thought that it would be awful if we are looking for one another and we are on two seperate sites thinking it was the old one from before.

Can someone fill me in on what's going on? I'm really confused!

Hugs, Jean

:Wave-Hello: hi gracie

i can explain. NeuroTalk was started up by DocJohn, who already had a very large support forum called PhychCentral. he did so as a temp haven for BT members when the site when down and there was no word when or if it would return.

well..we all loved it here, so he made it a permanent site. then a few months later Bt was up again.

some of the members post on both places. we have own own members who only post here. this site is growning by leaps and bounds. but we are totally different sites with different Admins and Mods. are Guidlines are different too.

Hi, Jean, glad you found us, you'll love it here, I know! Nice to hear from you again. I'm one who posts on both sites, but I do most of my posting here, and basically just look in occasionally on the other.

Thanks Curious and Lois,

Well that makes sense to me now. I had no idea what was going on.

By the way, Curious. From Curious George, right? Jack Johnson is one of my absolute favorite musical artists. There are a few others, but Jack is definitely one of the top. My college daughter is a huge fan and some of my kids have seen him in concert. He is awesome. My daughter introduced me to his music a few years ago. I love to play it in the summer and when I have the winter blues. He brings my soul back to life when I listen to him. Great music for a summer time party.

Curious,

If you haven't had the oppurtunity to listen to his other CD's they are well worth it. There are a couple of songs you may not want young children to listen to, but not many. Bubble Toes is a great song along with many more.

Take care!

Hugs, Jean
