--as I know Eugene Richardson, the prime organizer, fairly well, having spoken with him, both in person at neuropathy conferences and through Internet boards and channels over the years.

As many here know, I do have some issues with how the Neuropathy Association itself handles its advocacy role. I would hope that the Support Network might push the Association towards a more effective and visible activism.
