Has anyone ever taken/ been prescribed this instead of vicodin or percocet? I just was by
my neurologist and am trying to look into this and i keep reading it doesnt work.

Anyone know anything about this?

I've been using it with other medications and I find it helps with atypical TN pain. The extended release works a lot better than the non-extended and I use klonopin as an add on with it. Did your doctor prescribe the extended release? If not, you might want to ask him about it. Keep in mind that everyone reacts different to these meds and the only way you'll know if it works for you is by trying it. Good luck.
