Hello Snowlady!

Welcome to NT! You've found a fantastic place for support and understanding. I see you've been finding your way around the forums. You might notice at the top of the screen in most of the forums, there is a section called the 'Sticky's'. There is alot of good info up there.

I hope you begin to get answers to your concerns and I pray that your medical team gives you the best possible care there is.
You're so right.... trying to stay calm and reach out to others is a much better approach than worrying. Try to do your best to be as stress-free as you can.
Caring
Rae

Hi there Snowlady (I love that name). I'm a Sprout Lady myself (I grow my own food in my kitchen).

I just wanted to welcome you to Neurotalks and hope you find some answers.

Take care and again, Welcome!!

Hi, snowlady, & welcome.

I've got an aneurysm too. They found it 4 yrs ago looking for the source of mind-numbing headaches. It has nothing to do with the headaches, but it sits there approx. behind my right eye--about 3.5 mm of possible death. At least that's how I felt about it for a long time.

After 4 yrs I'm lots less fatalistic. I've found a fabulous, cutting edge neurologist/neurosurgeon who will look the situation over again via angiogram this December, then check again in 2 yrs.

Everyone's different. There are options in treatment. For me, the primary goal always was to find a doctor I could trust with my life. Doesn't mean i'm off the hook now, just that he & I are partners in my aneurysm healthcare. I feel shed of a good 75% of the stress. I know to keep my blood pressure low and not to get constipated:winky:, stuff like that. so once again knowledge is power.

You'll be soooo much better off after your angiogram which, BTW, ought to be not a big deal. I'm a curious 8 yr-old with things like that so my questions throughout offset any panic. You're awake & feel practically nothing except the initiating prick.

Hang in, come back, ask questions. This is a *great* place to be!

:rolleyes:C.G.
