Pain between first/2nd rib? and collar bone.
Now we all ahve TOS and we all get these pains so im not trying to ask a dumb question but i like peoples opinions. But put aside all the reffered nerve pains , all the fingers and shoulder pains ect. and what i am left with is a CONSTANT pain on my left side feels like it coming from the inner part of teh collar bone right near where the first rib is located. Now this pain doesnt go away no matter wat it always there, and funnily enough it doesnt really refer anywhere but the backof my trap. The pain increases slighty with any over head movements.
This morning i was thinknig to myself the rib must be out of place because it feels like the rib is pressing up against the collarbone or something? So i got a belt and did the top rib stabilization technique , i did it pretty vigourously for about 40 seconds each side and it has provided me relief thus far. Would this suggest the rib may be out of place or?? I have had the pain / symptom the longest no matter it there so im jus trynna figure it out |
PS do many people flare up or experience discomfort after swimming? Chiro told me to go for a swim twice a week as it increases flexibility throughout the spine. I went for one last ngiht and after it my shoulder were pretty sore. But im feeling alright today

Btw I think walking can help as well. It has rhythm, motion of the trunk, some vibration.
However, I cannot let my arms swing during walking as that aggravates my symptoms. |
Ok so went to a massage therapist on the weekend and turn out i had a Bunch of trigger points in my posterior scalenes which were probably pulling up on the secnod rib? when he touched that area it was very painful and it took him a solid 15 minutes off massage and pressure to get them all out. Now alot of the pain has dissapeared from that side but there is still a little something there. hmmm
