New member - want to help spouse with SFN

Hello,

My spouse is suffering from Small Fiber Neuropathy, and accompanying anxiety and depression. The symptoms (burning pain mainly, but also others) appeared some 1.5 years ago, but the condition diagnosed only 6 months ago. I really want to help her in any way possible.
She regularly reads in this forum.

Thanks
flyck

Hi flyck

Welcome to NT!
You've found a wonderful place for support, care and understanding. It is great that you are looking out for your wife and seeking out information - very admirable. There are SO many people who understand what she is going thru.
If you haven't already, check out the Peripheral Neuropathy forum. Here's the direct link to get you there:

There's an incredible amount of info at the top of the screen when you get there, called 'PN, tips, resources, supplements, etc. You'll be amazed at how many people battle this

Also, there are other forums that are very helpful...

Depression

It's a real bummer that you both are having to deal with this, but the good thing is that you don't have to be alone in it.

Caring,
Rae

Rrae, Darlene,

Thanks you!

As my wife says, no-one can ever understand what she is going through - not doctors, mother, not even me, despite doing my best to support her. Only people that do have experienced this condition can understand.
She feels not belonging to this world, wants to give up every day, stop it (the pain) once and for good. She can't bear it anymore - not even for our little kid.

It's so sad...
