Psuedotumor Cerebri, ICP and Accutane Use

Can somebody please tell me if they have any idea when the definitive link was made between accutane use and intracranial hypertension / psuedotumor cerebri? I have had ICP/ PTC since 2003 and always suspected prior accutane use was to blame but didnt find anything directly proving that until just recently. I dont fit any other criteria for this rare disease and just want to finally know why I suffer so badly from this. If anyone has any input on this subject I would greatly appreciate it. I also wonder if my treatment should at all change now knowing for sure where this disease originated from. Im one of the rare cases that it effects permanently and severly. Thank you so much!

Some of the legal websites have good links so try a search on Google.

Vit A retinol, and the tetracycline family are connected too.

You can search PubMed and find papers like this:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15675888

Use the generic name for the drug when searching. The PubMed link is at the top right of the pages here.
