I am glad the law student did not get voted off first.

Tonight was my first viewing of Survivor.

That one guy is sure a liar -- tells them he's a teacher when (in reality), he's actually a MMJ dealer.

Has a woman ever won? They would seem to be at a disadvantage.

I can't believe that one gal cried -- aren't you supposed to be tough for this show?

What's Coach's and Ozzy's history? Didn't Ozzy tell that one gal (who got voted off) that he was going to support her -- and then he voted against her?

I know its part of the strategy, but does ANYONE tell the truth?

SallyC 09-15-2011 11:58 AM

Not unless the truth benefits them, in their quest..

haha twink. Welcome to Survivor.

The object of Survivor is to outplay, outwit and outlast all the others. It means that alliances are made and broken throughout the entire show.

Ozzie may have "promised" the girl with loyalty but if the other people in his alliance wanted her out, he is put in the position of voting with his majority or chance being a target himself.

PLENTY of women have won. Sometimes the most unpopular player lasts until the final vote. The reason is that a popular player will want to be the winner by garnering votes "against" so-n-so at the end.

If Sally were on the island, Coach would be her first vote out.:) But it really depends on the dynamics of the group.

The conditions are tough, plenty of people break down during the show, there have been injuries. A medical staff is always monitoring everyone.

The players that play "honestly" are a huge target. Plenty of people do not say their true occupation for a variety of reasons. Some have been athletes. Lying can be a part of outwitting your tribe, etc. The medical dispensary guy may not want to reveal his identity just in case some may consider him evil because of his association with cannabis and want him gone for solely that reason.

People hated a past player named Russell. He was very good at understanding the game and manipulating almost everyone. For his nephew to tell anyone would make him a target. It seems he decided to confide in Coach - bad idea? - and it appears that the next episode will be about whether it was strategic or stupid.

The more quirky one is, the more airtime at the beginning. Did anyone see the African American guy that was so strong, he lifted another guy over with wall by shear arm/back strength?!

Keep watching Twink. By the end, you will be glad you joined our little Survivor reality clique.

And I will be glad to tell you what I think!:rolleyes:

I haven't watched it seriously in years but LOVED it for the first couple of seasons. This time I accidently taped it trying to catch the Big Brother finale. I might watch it. That Ozzie is a super cutie pie. I would have been prancing around in my under-drawers if he was on an island with me...20 years ago, lol.

doydie 09-18-2011 10:56 PM

Well the one sent home was prancing around in her Victorias secret push up while she was there.
