Virus on top of neuropathy

I have been dealing with snf for years. Just recently had to fight off bronchitis for three weeks as well as a stomach bug. As a result, i became almost paralyzed. That lasted a day but since - now a week i am still very weak, neuropathy much worse and fuzzy. Neuro says this a reaction to the virus. Anyone have anything they can add to this for me? Very scary situation. thanks.

If a virus was the cause of your P/N then another heavy virus may cause the P/N to worsen at least in the short term. Very scary indeed and hope you continue to improve.

I have been dealing with autoimmune P/N for several years. It WAS a virus that caused my paralyzing symptoms - a week later i am still not back where i was. Can i expect this to continue? or just if i get a virus - i hear surgery can create this reation also

thanks

Virus and PN

Does anyone know WHY a virus can cause PN to become so much worse? and is this going to continue to happen?

Did you take antibiotics for the bronchitis?

Some antibiotics are known to cause neuropathies.
