Acupuncture & venipuncture RSD
 

Hi, everybody:

I have full body RSD. I was just wondering if acupuncture could cause, through the use of its needles (even if they are very thin), venipuncture RSD, which is caused by medical needles (such as those used for injections or blood drawings). Thanks for your information.

My RSD was caused by veinpuncture. I am not sure whether or not acupuncture can use RSD. When i was searching for an attorney in the past. One attorney told me his client contracted RSD from acupuncture.

I am not trying to make anybody stay away from acupuncture if this helps with their RSD symptoms, but I think I will stay away from acupuncture. If an attorney's client could get RSD from acupuncture, it could very well have been venipuncture RSD. Acupuncture uses needles, so I think this patient's RSD could very well be venipuncture RSD. Thank you for letting me know about it, so I can make the decision not to have acupuncture. Maybe acupressure will be better and less harmful for me. Once again, I am not saying people who were helped by acupuncture should not have it because of fear it might cause venipuncture RSD.
