looking for info on ulnar nerve transposition

hi everyone,

I'm looking for information on Ulnar nerve entrapment and ulnar nerve transposition surgery, can anyone help me with that. I'm usually on the spinal disorders forum, since I just had an ACDF 6 months ago (C5, C6, C7), but my neurosurgeon now wants me to have a second surgery since it's his belief that my ACDF did not correct all the areas of pinched nerves in my hand. He called it a "double crush".

Has anyone else had the same nerve pinched in two locations and had to have another surgery so soon after a neck fusion?

Really looking to learn more about success and/or failures on this next surgery.

Thanks!
Cathie

Take my comments with a grain of salt, as I'm not a doctor, I don't know all your medical details and I do not have a prior surgery:

My ulnar problems resolved with self therapy. Particularly "Pain Free at the PC" by Egoscue. There is another well reviewed book called "It's Not Carpal Tunnel Syndrome!: RSI Theory..." which mentions the ulnar nerve 30 times according to Amazon's "search inside" feature.

Since you seem reluctant to have another surgery, you may wish to try one or both of these first.
