Interesting experience
On Tue I developed a strange ache inside my left pec more towards the shoulder. It felt abnormal to me; not the kind of ache you get from exercise. Concurrently, I felt generally ill and with a touch of brain fog. Also occasional pain in the left sternum right where the heart is.
Same thing all day on Wed. Corpse pose was little help. I put a cold pack on it with some minor relief, but that was temporary. Then I recalled I hadn't done any neck stretches in a couple days. Sometimes when you feel ill and groggy you don't feel like doing anything... I used a heat pack to warm up my neck muscles (Carex Bed Buddy), did the neck stretches, a little more heat pack and a first rib adjustment with a strap. Poof! Left chest ache is gone. Ill feeling is gone. Brain fog is gone. Question: Knowing what you know about TOS and the anatomy that's related to it, what is your interpretation of what was going on in my body? |

I may be way off. I experienced the same deep pain one night after my op and reported it to the nurse...... she looked at me as if I was a hypocondriac! What I used to do when I had it was raise my legs and give them a firm massage. It did ease it. I think so long as you can relieve it try not to worry. On the otherhand get to your doc if you have severe headaches...... best to be safe. Best wishes SD38:winky: |
