Roll Call Monday 9/25~

Hello to All this morning,
I shouldn't be the one starting Roll Call today of all things. I had another bad night, I woke up at 2:10 am this morning in severe pain. It's the old leg, thigh, and knee pain. Then woke again with back pain. It just feels raw,I know it's not, but that is how it feels.

How's the rest of you this morning? I can't help but feel mine is weather related at some point. I would like to take something for arthritis just to see what that would do. I'm not planning much today.

I keep weighing the same on the scales. At least I'm not gaining! I wish I could loose somemore. I need to be more active for that tho.

Gal's could you help me with some recipes on the other tread? I have a few more and will get one typed up after while.
Praying you have a good day!
Blessings,
Billie:)

Hi Billie,
Have you ever tried caster oil for your arthritis.
Dr. Gott suggest that in his weekly column that I am fond of.
I am off to the gym.
I am sorry that you did not sleep well last night...I did not either.

Morning BC & Bizi~
OK, What gives with the sleeping thing? We coulda played cards or chatted or had coffee (decaf of course) since we couldn't sleep! Geez Louise anyway! I'd hate to think what I'd be like without the Ambien!!

BC~
Sorry you have all the pain honey! (((BC))) I know mine's weather related, so hopefully when the sun pops out, you'll be feeling better too!

Bizi~
I love your name!!! :) Castor oil for arthritis, huh? Wow! Hey, I've tried everything else, so, why not! Well, on second thought, I bet that might play havoc on my IBS........ Maybe I'll let someone else tell me how it works, but that's an interesting concept!!!

Hailey and I went for a walk outside after the Vikings game yesterday! (Yeah, they lost--oh well!) She was pushing her little baby stroller--it was so cute! I wish I would have thought to bring HER stroller or something for balance..... I was OK walking at a turtle's pace UNTIL we'd hit sidewalks with walnuts.

We made it though, and it was nice to walk somewhere other than in my house. The scenery was a little bit different, to say the least! We both had our cell phones along, just in case!

Not too much happening here today. I think I'm gonna try dusting. You know how that is when you sit here and can see it? ISH! I vacuumed a few days ago, so it's time to dust. It's not too bad when you pace yourself. Do you think any "normal" people ever know how good they have it? The question of the week.......... Rhetorical question, never mind.

Have a good "D" & "E" day!

WE WILL DO THIS GUYS!!

Hugs,
LS

Good morning :)

Well it's Monday again!!! Had a rough day yesterday with bad leg pain. I was good though, I served fruit at my pity party:p Today feels a bit better so I am going to get out for a walk.

Billie, sorry about your leg pain last night. Hopefully after this next surgery you will start to feel better. I will find some recipes for our thread. I have a weight watchers cookbook that I will go through.

Bizi, I am curious about the castor oil. Is it in pill form or a liquid? Has it worked well for you? Ok enough on the questions--hope you have a great workout today.

And Jan, Jan, Jan...I saw your Vikings lose yesterday and was thinking of you. Its early in the season and I am sure the Vikings will come back strong. I bet I have more dust than you but if everybody will just put their stuff back in the exact same spot then the dust isn't so noticable.:D :D :D JK... I had an Aunt that had nick nacks everywhere and when we went to visit her she would always make sure we put everything back exactly in the same spot. This went on for years and years. She was a fun aunt and that was just one of her quirks. We always had so much fun visiting her farm with all the animals.

Well here's to a healthy day for all of us...Sue:)

Good afternoon, billie, bizi, Jan and Sue. :)

Still trying to get on my plan and stay there. dog-gone-it, I wish I knew why I have to go on my binges like I do. Stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, all I do is stuff things in my mouth and the truth of it is that it really is NOT THAT GOOD! :(
Well there you have...TRUE CONFESSIONS for the day. I am a CHRONIC OVEREATER! Now I am a fairly nice person, love my family etc, try to do right and be kind, yet I got this problem...FOOD! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm guess I got to find something I like better than eating??????

The caster oil ....I think.....you just rub on your arthritic joints. At least that is how I interpreted it.

I hope someone here tries it...I don't think it could hurt...do yOu?
Well now I am going to have to google it and see what comes up!
lol

i have found some good 100 calorie bag of popcorn that is very satisfying.
A friend told me once to try brushing my teeth immediately after eating instead of just before bed...at night. It has helped with the not wanting to snack, also I tend to snack while I watch tv...so I am trying to not watch as much tv.
