Coordination challenge: 2 kids, a lack of sleep, stairs and an earthquake
How are you?
I woke up at 5 AM the past two days for some reason. Being off my sleep schedule & not noticing a toddler's shoe on the floor- well I stepped on it by accident yesterday, causing a shock to my brain, the ankle/knee/hip/back to buckle, and the old foot muscle spasm to come back. Dealing w/the pain today, nannying a 3-year old boy in the house, I managed to avoid stress (as much as possible, depite constantly telling him to behave, listen, etc.) and injury. Up and down the stairs, through the narrow baby gate to the top. Overstimulation? Today was a freak occurance of TVs in two rooms and a speker phone conversation all going at the same time while I was having dinner- trying not to bang a damaged tooth w/a solid steel fork. And then my first PCS earthquake hit. Not too big, but I was curious how it would affect me. Basically, I was determined not to have a disaster right before my birthday tommorow. So I can- not be in too much pain. Don't ant to blog here- just wanted to share. I can thank God for making it through mostly unscathed. |
Wow- sounds like your system has been quite challenged over the past 2 days! Wishing you some rest so you can enjoy your birthday!

happy birthday !! (try to have a great day!)

Thanks. It got even crazier: a bigger earthquake after I posted. Last-minute complicated work, and even less sleep (from 10 PM to 3:30 AM).
I've got to be careful today- But I'm taking most of the day off to visit family & relax. |
Happy birthday and hope that you are feeling ok!
