Are siezures possible from a mal-functioning shunt???
:oI have Spina Bifida, so, I have a shunt. I've been having
siezure-like, feelings/ sensations. I was wondering, could it be a mal-functioning shunt in my head? Phyllis |
shunt related seizures
I personally have dealt with seizures on & off not long after getting my shunt placed. In my case I think it was more the multitude of surgeries & scar tissue left behind or what not than the shunt malfunctioning. I have a shunt due to a cyst on my brain though, so it may be different in your case
