toenails turning brown anyone ever had this happen?
 

I've noticed recently that my toenails are turning brown on my rsd foot along with black and blue around the ankle at the end of the day. (fyi this is the ankle I fractured a little over 2 years ago) the other foot my toes turn bright red, some of the toenails are turning brown and the ankle hurts.
As anyone had color changes in their nails?

Yep! My big toe and the next one on my left foot have been turning dark brown. The second toe's nail is also growing very thick and weird looking. When my neurologist looked at my foot she said that RSD is beginning to spread to my foot.
Since I saw her last month the pain in my lower leg is increasing and now when my wrist/hand, where the RSD started, starts burning pain so does my leg and foot.
When I read or hear someone say "RSD doesn't spread" I laugh because we all here know from experience that it does.

My feet are officially ugly.:eek: just scary! one side my toes are sweaty, the other is ice cold. WOW!!!!

Your symptoms are not at all unusual. I think we could have an "ugly foot" contest with all of us...........

Isn't the cold and hot thing bizarre? And it can go from one to the other on the same limb in just a few minutes.

thanks at least I am not in a group by myself. lol. I hate the fact that my body doesn't know if it's hot or cold. drives me batty.:hissyfit:
