Not Downers

The MS forum doesn't bring me way down. We all have bad days, MS sucks, there are some really sad stories here but usually in the Stumble Inn something makes me laugh, even better sometimes at myself. People come and go here for a variety of reasons. Sometimes the reason of it's all just too sad. I read other forums and even our own can be sad. I go to Stumble Inn and get a little band-aid. You guys are OK!! No wonder even non-MSers like to hang out with us.
Toliet tanks, famous people deaths, apples, mascara - you never know what you might find. Support. Support is always there.

I like it here too Kicker. :D

Where else can you go to cry, go to vent, go to share a laugh and never, ever be put down, always made to feel better when the going gets tough, and always made to feel welcome?

And sometimes it makes me spit my coffee!

At Home, that's where!!! It was the only place I could be myself, until this place came along. That's why we call ourselves Family!!!:grouphug:

I can understand that those people who are still in some form of deniel, being uncomfortable here. I've noticed that some, who had left here awhile back will return when the stupid illness raises it's ugly head again. And that is cool.

I agree. There's a very good balance. On any given day there's someone who needs to rant/vent/whine, someone who'll share the misery, someone who will look on the bright side, someone who's grateful, someone who's sad, someone who just needs someone else.

There's something here for everybody...I don't read every single thread every day, do you? There are some I skip on days I'm depressed, and some I NEED on days I'm depressed.

I like the way people here just naturally "take turns" being the cryer or the cryee. The peeps who want to fight all the time seem to mosey on to someplace else. Nobody here has the energy to fight!!

I used to go to another forum (years ago we all made a mass exodus to here). There were some (to me) fights via threads!! Had some Drama Queens.

Kicky, Don't get me started on that other *Exclusive* MS club..:D

Yes Blessings, after all. this is a support forum and on any given day, each of us may need a different kind of support.:grouphug:

BTW, I read most posts, but some, like your "kitties in the window" thread, I read with one eye closed.:(

Blessings2You 11-02-2011 11:54 AM

I hear you, Sally. Some days I see a thread title like "Killer Crocodiles Loose" or "We Lost Fluffy Last Night", and I think: No way, not today!!

Yes, that other place was *worlds* apart from this place...:p

It's a great place to get info, support or just a wet your pants laugh or two...of course we do that whether or not we are laughing...

Non MSer, that would be me, but you all do make me feel welcome here. I can relate to a lot of what you say, different Dx, similar problems.
