Tired all the time

Hi my friends,

I wanted to share that I have been feeling extra tired 24/7 recently... Last time doc checked, I wasnt anemic and my TSH levels were normal...

Funny thing is that prozac and/or vit B can make me feel even more sleepy... when most of people reacts the opposite with these ones...

I dont know... my sleep is not that deep and not that long but I cant say it is bad... but I feel tired all day... my brain is like floating if that makes sense... I get easily distracted... and cant focus... not even to watch tv...

I feel like hallow !? does that make sense ??

Wish I could sleep for years... but when I want to take a nap, it lasts no more of 25 mins or so...

My eyes feel tired... like when you have the flu...

Has anybody else feel like this ?? what was it ??

OMG...

I have no idea what is going on.... I didnt go to school for a week, and still...

Im off to bed...

Talk tomorrow !!!

Dear Majo,

When did you start the Prozac?

Get a vitamin D test. My test results were so low two years ago, I wonder how I was still alive.

I hope that you feel better soon.

Hey sweetie,

Im not taking any prozac right now... But when I have taken it, always make me sleep like a baby and feel tired (almost retarded) all day... I find that very weird...

I will need to check my vit D levels... I have never checked them

Majo if you haven't, may i suggest you have them check B12 and folate levels also. some folks have problems absorbing B12 from the stomach and have to take sublingual supplements so even if you are taking supplements, don't take it for granted your levels are ok. with fatigue it doesn't hurt to check. i knew someone with a discrete deficiency who was reporting sleepiness all the time despite enough sleep, fatigue, and a general feeling of ill-being, difficulty concentrating ("spacing out")...

Also make sure you are getting enough zinc which works along with B complex.

either deficiency (folate/B12 can cause fatigue before anemia shows up). might as well check them both.

ok. ttyl take care sweetie so sorry you feeling so bad. ((((healing hugs)))))

all good suggestions.
You have been under so much stress lately maybe your body is making you rest to play catch up. This could be a down side of bipolar you were up for so long. don't know....just throwing something out there.
((((HUGS))))

Bizi, that's what Im thinking too... Dont know...

Coffee used to work, but recently it does nothing... I almost fell asleep this morning in class  So embarrassing... And I came home after class because i had no energy to go to the lab...

Argh... Im going to take a nap right now.... Zzzzzzzzzzz

thinking of you

Majo i think most likely you wore yourself right out with all the worry and effort and physical and mental stress from the presentation and it has caught up. but i agree with donna after resting a week if you still feel like this you should see the doc, and ask about those tests too.

hope you are feeling better though.
