Grim Reaper check in part 3- Joe Frazier

They say they die in 3's, Joe Frazier, not a shock but still a really sad story. I am sad to say that I predict Ali isn't far behind him and without Ali and Frazier the boxing world would not be the same. Ali had the grace but Frazier the raw power and talent. Rest in Peace Joe, Rest in Peace.

I went to a huge arena in Tucson with my boyfriend to watch Thrilla in Manilla. I read today that Frazier only recently came to terms with the Ali/Frazier boxing history, how he felt disrespected.

I never have like boxing but I always respected him.

Aarcyn,
Does Aaron know about this boyfriend!?

Successful Marriage rule: NEVER talk about past relationships because those people are not important enough to share with your significant other.

@Kicker. Watching Ali and Frazier, being a part of the historic boxing match was amazing. The boyfriend? Not even a little amazing!:D

Did anyone else see that Bill Keane who drew "The Family Circus" died? (think his son Bil, with one "L", has been drawing the strip since 2004)

Yeah I saw on MSN. A rapper died yesterday too. He did the intro to "In Living Color". I guess that makes 3.

ok, the story I read said his son's name was also Bil, but I just saw another article that said his son's name is Jeff (the inspiration for Jeffy) and that Jeff is the one that's been doing the strip since Bil Keane retired.

This makes me sad. I like The Family Circus strip (altho my favorite all time comic strip was "For Better or For Worse" by Lynn Johnston (she's retired...wish she would start the strip back up again. I loved her work)
