SFN in Upper Back Possible?

Its some of my other threads I posted about burning in mu upper back, back of my neck, shoulder blades, and triceps. I have no other symptoms and so far nothing else has come up on any tests I've taken other then herniated Disc in T6-7. The latest Neurologist is saying Small Fiber Neuropathy. I cant seem to find anyone with this type of burning in the area I have it with SFN. I have no motor weakness, muscle pain, or symptoms other then burning in the area mentioned.

I also dont understand why the burning is sometimes in the back of neck, some times shoulders, some times upper back. Its never in all those spots at same time and its always bilateral. Can it really be SFN?

Like doesnt seem to show a specific article.

What about the burning happening in different spots at different times?

it is going to present differently in each person. the signals are
arising in the ganglion and depending on your trigger the sensation will be felt differently.

lidoderm patches over the ganglia responsible may deaden the
signals. herpes zoster is one coomon cause of this type of pain.

however, genetic inability to repair damage has been found in
some patients... i've posted that before..new studies in fact.

i cannot search for you right now but you can search this board.

yes, it takes you to the sign in page....in the upper left you will find a search box, type sensory gangliopathy (check my spelling, lol) and you will get some articles...good luck

Borrelia= Lyme disease.
It is possible to contract HIV from dirty endoscopic instruments.
Also hepatitis. So getting tested for these if the Zoster is not the culprit, would possibly reveal something.
