I'm feeling a lot better :)

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Nick and I'm 5 months out from my injury.

I can't say I'm completely symptom free, but I must say..they are becoming fewer and far between. I'm having a lot more "normal" days where I get through my entire day without any trouble. I haven't had headaches in weeks. Just a little dizzy and light-headed when I talk too much or laugh real hard..which doesn't really bother me. Anxiety attacks seem to be non-existent. Not sure if the Gabapentin I'm taking have anything to do with it but I'm loving it. I'm no longer in fear of being "stuck" in PCS mode the rest of my life. If things keep on going the way they are, I'll be starting school in March of next year.

Hope everyone is doing well, I wish you all the best.

Nick,

Good for you.

Have you been staying away from the video games, or at least been limiting your play time?

You don't need a relapse.

Keep it up. Your little guy needs you.

@Mark - I'm officially on break from video games. I noticed a huge change since I stopped playing. Thanks for the concern buddy and the help/advice you've given me thus far. I like the path I'm going down and I'm gonna continue heading in that direction.

@nightnurse30 - Thanks! Yeah I read a lot of your posts on staying positive and decided to give it a try. It's been part of my recovery the past couple weeks. I also noticed going to bible study and praying has been helping me a lot. LOTS of positive energy coming from that.

I'll keep you guys up to date. Good to hear from you :)...

WOOHOO!!! Here's hoping the good days keep occuring on a more and more frequent basis. Funny how your idea of a good day is no headache, do dizziness, and less anxiety. Before it was how much can I cram into one day-now a good day might include a nap!
