Hi from Australia!

Hi Everyone! I'm a graves disease sufferer from Australia. Only recent diagnosed. 3 doctors misdiagnosed me and told me there was nothing wrong with me. Luckily the 4th doctor has family who are Graves sufferers and knows what to look for. Have been reading all the "gluten-free" posts with great interest as I have been told by a few doctors that changing my diet won't help my graves in the slightest. But I have to say, since going gluten and caffine free (have been for 4 weeks now), I feel a lot happier and healthier and I've lost weight. :)

Hello Skara!

Welcome!
Thanks for the intro!....and your testimony on being gluten-free. My step-daughter is doing real well with this as well. I'm not able to stick to something like this, as I don't have the discipline needed for it :o

I'm so glad you finally found a doctor who took your Graves seriously! It's so frustrating when alot of healthcare pro's don't dig deep enuf to find the right diagnosis.

Anyway, it's GREAT to have you here! I look forward to getting to know you

Caring,
Rae
